‘Maryada Ramanna’(MR) is of course the brain child of Kanchi, the writer of the movie but it started from a word that was told by talented director Vara Mullapudi.

In a story discussion, apparently Vara Mullapudi, director of ‘Visakha Express’, had narrated a story that lead to the development of ‘Maryada Ramanna’. Interestingly, as put in IndiaGlitz review on ‘Maryada Ramanna’, MR is inspired by an English movie titled ‘Our Hospitality’.

So Vara Mullapudi’s word lead to the development of the story and to rightly acknowledge the director, the makers of ‘Maryada Ramanna’, credited him saying – “Moola Kathalu, Maaru Moola Kathalu Maaku Cheppe Mullapudi Vara gaaru ki Kruthagyanathalu’ in the beginning of the movie.

Drawing inspirations from inspirations…we say!
